Here is what we can expect during over our November SUPERMOON

Here is what we can expect during over our November SUPERMOON
• REFLECT. Acknowledge how far you have come and reflect on your lessons/learning’s this year, embracing the wisdom of the journey, and then taking on board those learning’s in order to prepare for a new cycle.
• LET GO. I know, it has been a long running theme this year and you have heard it all before… but these last 3 SUPERMOONS of the year are signally the ‘death’ before a cycle of ‘rebirth’ as we enter 2017, a universal 1 year in numerology… a time of new beginnings.
• FORGIVE. Forgive yourself; forgive others, holding grudges only keep you as the victim.  You may have found this year, as we dived deep through retrogrades, eclipses & black moon. Stuff from you past has been coming to the surface.  It is now time to finally let go, forgive and find closure, completion and reach a conclusion or resolution to situations or circumstances that have been dragging out for way too long now.
• DETOX.  Be gentle with you and set aside time to care and nurture your body each day.  After a HUGE year of letting go, it is time to renew/refresh you cellular vitality and release the last remnants of e-motional stagnation deep within your cells. Be kind to your liver it has worked hard this year
• EMOTIONS. Emotions will be amplified this FULL MOON… and dramas could run rampant.  Rather that feel all consumed with what is happening ‘out there’, it is a time to take a deep look within yourself.  What do YOU feel?   Could what is happening outside of yourself have anything to do with something you are holding onto / fearing / hiding within yourself?  What a great full moon energy to own the parts of you causing pain and then transform it into something in alignment with your HEART/SOUL.
• TRANSFORMATION.  Thus supersized November Taurus SUPERMOON may have you feeling like a tug-o-war is at play.   The grounded patient Taurus Energy doesn’t want to budge from its comfortable feel-good place of pleasure.   But the Sun in impatient Scorpio is PUSHING for change, for growth and for us to take a good hard look below the surface and move us out of our comfort zones.

TRANSFORMATION is going to happen, so you may as well surrender and evolve with grace and ease.
Overall, energy runs high during a SUPERMOON… you may feel more emotional, electric, experience sleep disturbances or have expressive / lucid dreams. You may also find your intuition is heightened, synchronicity more pronounced and you become more aware or sensitive to the energy of the environment / people / plants / animals… actually everything!
The best way to balance with this highly charged energy is to ground by walking bare foot on the ground, hiking in nature, swimming in a lake or the ocean or connecting with Crystals, eating whole LIVE foods will assist your detox and keep you in harmonic flow with nature.

NEW AGE "HIPPIES" REALLY?

I have been into the so called "New Age Movement" since I was a child. It has always been an interesting subject to me, since I never really cared about children's books. I was always in the adult section with categories of new age and metaphysics. My Mother always knew where I was, not in the kiddies play dome, but upstairs in the adult sections.

I have always found it fascinating and studied this extensively on and off for over 43 years. I have applied many different modalities into my life with interesting results. I loved to go to New Age conventions on and off for years seeing all of the new, unique and fabulous items, and information available. That changed after one more convention about 15 years ago. I noticed the industry had changed, it wasn't about helping or knowledge but selling, selling, selling. It didn't matter if it worked, I knew it wouldn't. It seemed they where now preying on peoples' needs, falsifying its intentions of purpose. These new agers seemed out of control, some so obsessed I felt I was speaking to a Martian, crazily never stopping about non reality-based beliefs. It truly grossed me out and I never went back.

Since then I have restrained myself and can spot a new age hippie (that's my term for them) immediately. I have no time for cosmic ideas that are not sane, it's such a shame. These new agers have destroyed our light workers/metaphysicians reputation of being sane and reality-based. Please consider that other modalities of healing do exist, for example scientifically they have found proof of color therapy, essential oils, music, eastern medicine and energies that surround us and much more. Joseph Campbell was a leader in our industry, check him out.  He's amazing. So be open. There is no hocus pocus, there are some of us that do live in this reality.

Obsession is a term used to name chronic thinking towards someone or something. Or, as the dictionary states, the 'domination' of ones' thoughts and actions.

ARE YOU CLAIRVOYANT? Take the quiz.

ARE YOU CLAIRVOYANT? Take the quiz.

There are a variety of ways to observe clairvoyance. You may have visions or visual flashes while awake or these visions can also come to you in your dreams or when you are in a very relaxed state, as pictures in your mind.

Other types of clairvoyant abilities include reading a person’s aura or energy field, seeing colors surrounding a person or picking up on symbols that come to you as a picture in your mind.

Clairvoyance is the ability to see clearly though the minds eye. You might see sudden flashes of pictures, a movie, symbols, or numbers seen in your head that have meaning. It could also be a flash of a yes or no or a color like red or green. Mediums of type have been used in the government for “remote viewing”; this is the practice of seeking about a distant or unseen target. Detectives have been known to use the person’s ability to solve crimes.

Quiz

  1. I regularly experience premonitions.
  2. 2. When I close my eyes, I can see actual images.
  3. 3. I mistrust people who will not look at me in the eyes or who look away while speaking to me.
  4. Visualization techniques come easy to me.
  5. While being taught something new, I do better by being shown as opposed to being told.
  6. I have experienced a clairvoyant vision while awake and aware of my other surroundings.
  7. I would describe myself as a visual person.
  8. I have precognitive dreams regularly.
  9. I can easily tell the difference between a regular dream and a precognitive dream.
  10. I am most comfortable in a pretty bright and picturesque environment.

If you had many of the questions answered yes, then in fact you are. If you had example: 5 out of 5. You may be a crossover being a clairaudient, or empath, or intuitive.

AMETHYST CRYSTAL What is it used for?

AMETHYST CRYSTAL What is it used for?

Amethyst are generally one of the first gems people are attracted to when begin their crystal healing journey. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise since amethyst healing properties have been valued for thousands of years. As early as 25,000 B.C, the Neolithic people in Europe and the ancient Egyptians prized it for its beauty and legendary energies. Greek and Roman societies also placed high value on the Amethyst healing powers. It has long been considered a gemstone of royalty, being used in the crowns, scepters and rings of bishops.  Amethyst is said to have been the ninth stone in the breastplate of the high priest of Israel, and one of the ten stones upon which the names of the tribes of Israel were engraved. With all this rich history, there must be a reason so many different ancient civilizations harnessed the properties of Amethyst.
Amethyst crystals are exceptional for providing spiritual protection, inner strength and clarity of mind, making them a classic meditation tool. Meditating with them can help you to become more in tune with your feelings, helping you to get to know yourself on a much deeper level. It also stimulates the crown chakra and calms your thoughts, making it a powerful aid in meditation.
Amethyst healing properties also include acting as a natural form of stress relief. This crystal attracts positive energy while ridding your body of any negative emotions feelings of stress, anxiety, fear, depression and more. It helps to clear your body’s energy field of all negative energies and influences, acting as an energetic shield that creates a bubble of spiritual light around your body.
Aside from what they can do for your body, amethyst crystals are one of the most beneficial stones to have in your environment. Due to this, many people fill their homes with them in their bedroom, living room, bathroom, car, office, meditation room etc, so that the amethyst healing properties constantly surround and protect them. What are spells? Where do they come from? Are they evil, do they work?

meaning wise and the actual history of witchcraft and spell casting is believed to be as old as the rich history of human evolution. The first witches to use spell casting were said to be healthcare providers who discovered medicinal plants and herbs that affect euphoric emotions and the idea progressed thereon Today spells are described as a paranormal or metaphysical act performed in an altered state of consciousness to bring a desired change into our lives. It is a powerful intention and a secret wish that we make within the hope it will steer us in the right direction.

A spell works through concentration and channeling which then moves broader energy currents. It is then through images, visualizations and power thoughts that we are able to bring our intentions to life and live the experience rather than dream it. Our instincts tell us when we need change, we know when something needs shifting and a spell can help us to move things forwards, providing us with the right connections.

Spells tend to have a peculiar way of working however and are in no way harmful. Some light workers describe their spells as prayers or wishes that they pour out to the divine. They then bind each spell which seals it with protection so that no harm can come to anyone. However, throughout history spells have been described as evil and many people believed in early modern Christian Europe that spells were only ever cast by bad witches and were somehow in league with the Devil using their powers to harm people along with their possessions, when in actual fact people were casting spells without realizing it by thinking a powerful thought or by asking for spiritual guidance, wishing to the stars or admiring the moon.

Today all kinds of light workers which are also known as white withes, pagans or wiccans practice magic and spell casting for spiritual growth and to also worship the natural world with the belief that their intentions will create peace and not war. Now if you are wondering whether a spell works then they absolutely do, they are full of fun and flavor and mainly consist of magical rhymes and natural remedies. But they don’t just occur over night they take time and patience and they also require realistic goals. For example, it would be no good wishing for the perfect job when you aren’t networking with people or researching what you want. And it would be no good wishing for “Mr” or “Mrs” Right to come along when all you are doing is sitting inside and not getting out and about.

You must always cast the spell with the intention that you are going to make it happen and then spirit will naturally bring the right ingredients to you. They may also throw you signs so it is always important to be receptive to your surroundings. You can cast a spell or an intention by yourself or you can ask someone else to do it for you. However, spells are said to be more powerful if you infuse it with emotion and feeling – the stronger your intention then the more chance the spell has of working, like with anything, things tend to progress well when energy levels are forceful or extremely high. We can not expect anything to work if there is no energy. Our emotional intentions and desires work in exactly the same way.

Many of us choose to cast spells in different ways, there is no right or wrong way but it does have to feel comfortable for you and it does have to be something that you feel is going to be workable. It may take a while for the spell to manifest depending on how spiritual you are but you should be able to feel the energy of the spell around you after you have cast it, it should lift you and make your feel lighter than what you were before. You can also feel the magic’s energy yourself by rubbing your palms together briskly for ten seconds, then holding them a few inches apart. Try then, to sense the energy passing through them and the warm tingle in your palms – this is said to be the power raised and used in magic, it comes from within and is very natural.

There are many ways in which we can try out spells, and they can be done in the simplest of forms – you don’t even need to decorate your room or light candles to cast your intentions you can simply speak them into nature or send them out to the stars in the sky.

You could also try herbs, symbols, stones, crystals and music to get your thought process flowing.

If you connect with the Moon well then remember that a waxing to full moon is great for spells on growth and prosperity and a waning to dark/new moon is for banishing the things you no longer need.

Magic and spells must never be used to gain power over others and must always be done with love and light. Remember - A spell is a wish that the heart makes, and we must be open and honest with ourselves if we want it to work! Remember, sometimes however it is necessary to stop harm from someone or a bad spell practitioner that has placing a spell of negative intent on you. In my practice I have many people come to me with problems they cannot get rid of. This must be dealt with care, and precise knowledge of who it is coming from. There is no ill intent  just removing the negativity that was sent to you.

If there was one thing you could do to heal your relationships, would you do it?

I’ve discovered that there really is one major cause of relationship problems—one issue that if you address and heal, changes everything.

The one cause: self-abandonment.

When you abandon yourself emotionally, physically, spiritually, financially, relationally and/or organizationally, you automatically make your partner responsible for you. Once you make another person responsible for your feelings of self-worth and well being, then you attempt to manipulate that person into loving you, approving of you and giving you what you want. The controlling behavior that results from self-abandonment creates huge relationship problems.

Let’s look at the various forms of self-abandonment and how they result in relationship conflict and power struggles, or in distance and disconnection.

Emotional self-abandonment.

When we were growing up, many of us experienced much loneliness, heartache, heartbreak and helplessness. These are very big feelings, and unless we had loving parents or caregivers who helped us through these feelings—rather than being the cause of them—we had to find strategies to avoid them.

We learned four major ways of avoiding these core painful feelings of life, and these four ways now create our feelings of anxiety, depression, guilt, shame and anger, as well as relationship problems.

1. We judge ourselves rather than accept ourselves.

Did you learn to judge yourself as a way to try to get yourself to do things “right” so that others would like you? Self-judgment creates much anxiety, depression, guilt, shame and emptiness, and can lead to many addictions in order to avoid these feelings. Self-judgment also leads to needing others’ approval to feel worthy, and your resulting controlling behaviors to gain others’ approval can lead to many relationship problems.

2. We ignore our feelings by staying up in our head rather than being present in our body.

When you have not learned how to manage your feelings, you want to avoid them. Do you find yourself focused in your head rather than in your body, more or less unaware of your feelings?

We emotionally connect with each other from our hearts and souls, not from our heads. When you stay in your head as a way to avoid responsibility for your feelings, you cannot emotionally connect with your partner.

3. We turn to various addictions to numb the anxiety, depression, emptiness, guilt, shame and anger that develops when we judge ourselves and ignore our feelings.

Addictive behavior, such too much alcohol, drugs, food, TV, gambling, overspending, work, sex and so on, can create much conflict and distance in relationships.

4. We make our partner or others responsible for our feelings.

When we emotionally abandon ourselves, we then believe it is someone else’s job to make us feel loved and worthy. Do you try to control your partner with anger, blame, criticism, compliance, resistance or withdrawal to get him or her to give you what you are not giving to yourself? How does your partner respond to this controlling behavior?

Many relationships fall into a dysfunctional system, such as one person getting angry and the other withdrawing or resisting, or both getting angry or both withdrawing. In some systems, one is angry and the other is compliant, which seems to work until the compliant partner becomes resentful. In all of these systems, each person is emotionally abandoning themselves, which is the root cause of the dysfunctional relationship.

Financial self-abandonment.

If you refuse to take care of yourself financially, instead expecting your partner to take financial responsibility for you, this can create problems. This is not a problem if your partner agrees to take financial responsibility for you and you fully accept how he or she handles this responsibility. But if you choose to be financially irresponsible, such as overspending, or you try to control how your partner earns or manages the money, much conflict can occur over your financial self-abandonment.

Organizational self-abandonment.

If you refuse to take responsibility for your own time and space, and instead are consistently late and/or a clutterer, and your partner is an on-time and/or a neat person, this can create huge power struggles and resentment in your relationship.

Physical self-abandonment.

If you refuse to take care of yourself physically by eating badly and not exercising, possibly causing yourself severe health problems, your partner may feel resentful by having to take care of you. Your physical self-abandonment not only has negative consequences for you regarding your health and well being, it also has unwanted consequences for your partner, which can lead to conflict and power struggles.

Relational self-abandonment.

If you refuse to speak up for yourself in your relationship, and instead become complacent or resistant, you are eroding the love in the relationship. When you abandon yourself to another through compliance or resistance, you create a lack of trust that leads to conflict, disconnection and resentment.

Spiritual self-abandonment.

When you make your partner your source of love rather than learning to turn to a spiritual source for your dependable source of love, you place a very unfair burden on your partner. When your intent in the relationship is to get love rather than to share love, then you will unfairly lean on your partner for attention, approval, time or sex. When you do not take responsibility for learning how to connect with a spiritual source of your own for sustenance, your neediness can create relationship problems.

Spiritual self-abandonment is related to emotional self-abandonment, in that you cannot commit to 100% responsibility for yourself without a strong connection with a spiritual source of love and wisdom.

Learn to love yourself rather than abandon yourself.

Learning to love yourself is the key to a loving relationship. When you learn to connect with a personal source of spiritual guidance and access the love and wisdom that is always within you, you learn to fill yourself up with love. While self-abandonment creates an inner emptiness that relies on others to fill you, self-love creates an inner fullness. Self-love fills your heart and soul with overflowing love so that, rather than always trying to get love, you can now share your love with your partner.

Essential Oils: Dilution and How to use them?

Essential Oils: Dilution and How to use them?

Did you know that pure essential oils are 1000 times more potent than their leafy counterparts? That’s why diluting them with another substance, such as a carrier oil, lotion or shampoo, is so important.

Since essential oils are so highly concentrated, when they come into direct contact with your skin, they can cause sensitization which generally results in a rash. It’s important to note that once sensitization to a specific essential oil is developed, it can potentially be permanent and could effect your reaction to other essential oils. Occasionally, respiratory problems or anaphylactic shock can occur. Diluting essential oils is the best way to avoid these possible reactions, while still experiencing the vast benefits of using essential oils.

Another perk of dilution is financial. Diluting essential oils gets you more bang for your buck by not having to restock your supply as frequently.

A good number to keep in mind when diluting is 2% (1% for the elderly, pregnant women and children); this means you should add up to 12 drops of essential oil to each fluid oz. of carrier oil, water or cream you use (up to 6 drops for a 1% dilution). Dilutions of 3% or higher should be used seldomly and only for “spot” treatments, which is when they're applied to small areas rather than the entire body.

Since droppers can sometimes vary from oil to oil, some people like to use more finite measurements. In this case, a 2% dilution is approximately 1/8 tsp. essential oil per fluid oz. of carrier. The important thing is to find the method that makes you feel comfortable and safe, because using essential oils should be a worry-free experience.

Below is a my favorit of some of ther commonly used carrier oils. Some oils are better geared to certain skin types and conditions, so take that into consideration when selecting the best one for you!

Almond: One of the most useful, practical and widely used oils. Soothes, softens and rehydrates the skin in face and body care lotions and potions.

WHAT IS A LOST SOUL?

WHAT IS A LOST SOUL?

Lost souls are people who are spiritually adrift. For whatever reason, these individuals have blocked the intuitive guidance coming from their higher selves.  In doing this, they have also cut themselves off from feeling the infinite love of the universe, and this leads to struggle, anger and sadness.  As a result, a lost soul’s life is very challenging.

If you are currently working to raise your vibration and follow your highest path, you probably find it difficult to interact with lost souls.   These individuals can be some of the most frustrating people to deal with because they radiate lower vibrational energy, and the way that they interact with others can be quite off-putting.

However, if we want to help these people we must react with sympathy, rather than anger and hostility.  Lost souls need unconditional love more than the rest of us because they are so starved for it.  Although this may be challenging at times, love and acceptance are really the only things we can give to help others who have lost their way.

So, here are some of the frustrating symptoms of a lost soul, and how best for us to react in order to help them:

1. Defensiveness: a lost soul is someone who is operating from their ego, not from their higher self.  Because they are largely ego-driven, lost souls will often feel the need to defend their positions and assert that they are always right, and always know best.  Even friendly advice that will genuinely help a lost soul is often  immediately discarded with a “Yeah, but…” followed by a list of reasons why they believe the advice won’t work for them.

Your best reaction to this defensiveness? Accept it.  Do not engage in an argument with a lost soul, even if you feel like your advice is exactly what they need.

Remember, lost souls are blocking their inner guidance, so they will very likely block beneficial advice from wherever it is coming from.  The best you can do is lay your ideas on the table, but then back away from the discussion when they push against it.Surprisingly, when I have done this in the past I have noticed that many such individuals will later tell me “I remember when you told me such-and-such, that was really good advice!”  The thing about lost souls is that they do not like to have their egos challenged, so if you do not debate against their rebuttals they are far more likely to listen to your well-intended advice because they didn’t feel threatened by your approach.

2. Closed-mindedness: Many times lost souls will not be interested in accepting different people and different choices.

Again, the higher self is all-loving, and all-accepting.  If someone is blocking the unconditional love from their higher self, they will be unable to radiate unconditional love to others.  As a result, their “love” will only be given out to certain people who are behaving in a way that their ego approves of.

Because of this, you will often see lost souls manifest themselves into people who are intolerant of other religions, bigoted, racist, homophobic or misogynistic.

Your best reaction?  If you feel as if something a lost soul tells you is intolerant or abusive towards others, very kindly tell them that it bothers you when they say things like that and then drop it.

Remember, arguing with a lost soul is always a waste of time.  Speak your mind and then move on.  If you do not challenge a lost soul’s ego, you will have the best shot at being heard.

3. Repeating the same mistakes, over and over again: It may take any of us a few tries to learn a lesson in life, but with a lost soul the pattern endlessly repeats itself.

You may often see a lost soul hopping from one abusive relationship to another, chronically being broke and out of work or even repeatedly being victimized.

To be clear, none of us is perfect, and we’re all making mistakes in some way.  However,  a lost soul’s repeated mistakes are very painful and can cause them a lifetime of personal grief.

Your reaction? Realize, yet again, that a lost soul has severed ties with the love of the universe, therefore they do not understand how to make choices based on self-love.  A lost soul has forgotten how to care for him or herself.

These individuals are not making their life decisions because they are trying to hurt themselves or anyone else, but rather because they have become blind to the guidance of the universe.  In fact, quite often they make poor choices because they are simply trying to distract themselves or numb the pain of the emptiness they feel from being spiritually disconnected.

Please do not judge them, do not chastise them, and do not belittle their struggles.  Accept them where they are, and love them anyways.

This doesn’t mean that you should allow them to pull you into their chaotic storms, but do let them know that you care about them and you want the very best for them.  Loving them from afar still counts!

It can indeed be very frustrating to deal with a lost soul.  The defensiveness, close-mindedness, and continuous self-harm can be very unpleasant to witness and interact with.

That being said, it’s good to remember that we are all on our own paths, and we each have the option of traveling through life in the way that we choose.  Although we may have found a higher calling, the lost souls are choosing to experience life in a limited way-and that’s their choice.

Not a one of us would want to be forced to think or believe something against our will, and if we want the freedom of choice for ourselves we must allow the freedom of choice in others, even when we feel their choices are damaging and hurtful.  We can speak our truths, but we shouldn’t feel the need to take on the job of changing the thoughts, beliefs and actions of others.

At the end of the day, all we can really do for the lost souls of the world is accept and love them as they are while being as happy, healthy and prosperous as we can be.  If we can shine brightly enough, we just might provide enough light to help a lost soul find its way back home.
